When demons of different kinds mate, the babies almost always inherit their shape from their kennen-father, which is to say, the father who bears them (that's me! [heart emoji]). However, there's a very small chance that they might inherit it from their sire-father instead. Statistically, the chance is a little less than 6%, so it doesn't happen often. For Atwix and Quathrigan kennen-fathers, it's not such a big deal, but for a Bo like me, since we're the smallest of the three kinds, bearing a Quathrigan or an Atwix child means a big, heavy belly and a very long and difficult labour and birth. I guess we'll find out what I'm having at my first scan in another five weeks! I'm so excited!
