October is here.
be forgiving. Trust me. Be upfront. Some say, "Never let them see you sweat. That is BS. Be vulnerable. Tell them before the session, "Be patient, still learning the rules, or didn't prep as much as I wanted." You will find they just want to share a fun and exciting game--flaws and all.

As a GM, I read, absorb, video game npc chatter. I don't do speed runs or furiously gear chase.

They are celestial and infernal forces that transcend such constraints, their influence woven into the very fabric of reality. Their forgotten names may be lost to the ravages of time, but their power endures, a testament to their enduring presence in the cosmos.

Either: a) if PC successful, they narrate what happened and how it looks.
b.) GM adds flair and context.
c.) If failed, GM describes what occurred and consequences. This allows GM to flow right into the spotlight using the failed roll to make a move.

What does your group do to keep the flow?
DOES OUR CREW ALWAYS FLOW SMOOTHLY? 🫣No.
