A demo from a while ago of video mosaicing* different Raw Green Rust performances using the FluCoMa toolkit in @cycling74.bsky.social #maxmsp. It's low framerate here as I was capturing and compressing while I was playing, but I quite like the effect. *by calculating frame index from analysed audio

I've been working with @ircam.bsky.social SPAT5 in @cycling74.bsky.social MAX/MSP to bring in binaural audio to the Witness Engine. First results are encouraging.

The audio engine on the weather/AQ engine is now binaural so listen with headphones if you can.

Here, we have a grim night in Dhaka. Rain, clouds, haze and grim particulate levels:

in particular I love teaching Max MSP, my "desert island" software that I use in all my own music.

I've lots of experience doing workshops for this with total beginners (at London Music Hackspace and other places), get in touch if you want to learn.

I make some pretty weird max/msp improv jams. haven't played live in 2 years but this is one patch of many from my live setup. additive synthesis madness.

I've finally started moving over to Codeberg! I have a collection of Max/MSP reverb abstractions that I'm working on, and so far, I have some room algorithms from Gardner's 1992 paper: codeberg.org/reillypascal...

I'm also writing some blog posts about these, and I'll have the next one up soon!

You can also get Max/MSP versions of these reverbs here codeberg.org/reillypascal...

The “freeverb̦” algorithm from last time is here as well, and I'll be adding more as I write more posts.
