Every time theres like a post about "room mates from hell" or someone homeless, half the judgement comes from the person being smelly or having poor hygiene, and youre supposed to take that value judgement like the person not grooming properly is inherent

Especially since, lbr, what's the alternative? Adblock is one thing, but I'm not sure we have systems as robust or accessible to block this shit out yet. (And if we do, let me know!) Unfortunately, the major attitude just seems to be acceptance. So they'll keep pushing. (Sorry for the rant 😭)

If it's not by choice, they can pretend that's number go up and make it seem reasonable they've spend disgusting amounts of money. Enshittification. That's really what it is. And again, I have my pet theory of major companies like this are trying to see how much people will put up with.
