The vacant Ralph’s got a cleanup! Huge thanks to Care Closet LBC for clearing trash and debris (with owner permission) at Los Coyotes & Wardlow.

We’re working with the owner & City staff on the site’s future and will keep monitoring with Code Enforcement. Check out the before & after!

Today, we honor and commemorate the end of slavery in the US. On June 19, 1865, federal troops arrived in Galveston Bay, Texas with news of freedom and the end of slavery by the Emancipation Proclamation.

Earlier this week, Councilwoman Kerr and Councilwoman Duggan welcomed students from Patrick Henry and Naples Bayside Academy to City Hall for a tour! These student leaders had great questions and shining stars in our community. 🌟
Some members of the CD5 Team came out to help the Cal Heights Clean Streets pick up some trash this morning! 🧹 🗑️ One hour can make a difference and a shout out to our Public Works Clean Team for picking up some GoLongBeach requests!
