About one year and two weeks ago, I started playing maimai as my main rhythm game.
Today, I finally achieved the goal I thought I would never be able to achieve - 15000/rainbow rating.
I never thought I would come this far, but it goes to show that persistence and perseverence pay off.

I feel like I've reached the point in my art where it feels like the learning curve has gotten a lot steeper and I'm up against a wall. Somehow everything I try isn't *quite* working. I'm not demotivated to the point of giving up just yet but uhh it also sure isn't easy to keep powering through it

Happy that Toronto finally has another new transit option opening up. Now, the next question is, when's the Eglinton crosstown gonna open?? It's just kind of been there for as long as I can remember...I've graduated high school, university, AND I'm over year into my first job and it's STILL not done

Something Springer said after ALCS G7 stuck with me. He wasn't trying for a home run, he was just trying to score the runners on 2nd and 3rd. By focusing on execution and not results, he actually ended up with a better result. I also want to have this mindset during my push to reach 15k in maimai.

I'm back home in Seoul now, but one more thing I forgot to share last night: 빈대떡 (Korean Mung Bean Pancake). Huge thanks to the incredibly welcoming couple running the place who let me take pictures! Highly recommend this place in Beomil, Busan - Naver maps has it as "Beomil Mung Bean Pancake"
