Sennen is a photography student, wildlife artist and birdwatcher from London. She has been involved with nature advocacy work since she was young and is particularly interested in engaging more young people in conservation. She has family in Cornwall which is where she sees Curlew most often!

30th November marks Remembrance Day for Lost Species and we are remembering the Slender-billed Curlew.

We want to keep the name of the Slender-billed Curlew alive and hold it in our hearts as we learn from the loss.

This cannot happen again on our watch. 💔

Our next ambassador is Sarah Marles, a Wirral-based nature writer and MA student in Nature & Travel Writing. Her work explores belonging & connection with the land. As a Curlew Ambassador, she hopes to share the beauty & vulnerability of curlews & inspire others to protect the wild places.

Blane is the co-founder of Leeds Lapwings, a community birdwatching group set up earlier this year with the mission of making birdwatching more accessible, welcoming and sociable, especially for younger people.
