When everyone understands we're all at risk no matter where we go and when we stop saying, "I never thought something like this could happen here," MAYBE we'll vote for lawmakers who will solve the problem.

The Onion headline reading, "No way to prevent this," says only nation where this regularly happens.

True story, when I was in the military, we would paint the rocks bordering sidewalks white when lawmakers visited to show we took care of government property. We feared Congressional oversight. This was 30 years ago.
