CKC has one remaining Board opening! We are looking particularly for someone with skills and experience in IT including museum cataloging tools, website design and maintenance, and nonprofit constituent relationship software. Good communications and public relations skills will also be welcomed!

These adorable hand knit Scandinavian Folk Dolls were lovingly made by Judith Lasch for her daughter Callie as a memento of a trip they shared to several Scandinavian countries. Dolls "Sven" & "Helga" were named in honor of Callie's father and grandmother.

Today's prompt is #intergenerational, and this piece from the #CKCCommunityCollection is an perfect example of that! This linen, collected in 1889 from their family's covered wagon, was passed down each generation since. When it reached #CKCMember, Gwen, she knew she had to preserve this treasure.
