We are so pleased to have Dr Chen and Dr Yang join us between now and the end of September!
Welcome to our new Visiting Research Fellows!🥳

Dr Hung-Hsun Chen (Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics, Fu Jen Catholic University (FJCU), Taiwan)

Dr Chia-Lee Yang (Principal Engineer & Head, National Center for High-Performance Computing (NCHC), Taiwan)
Gillian has been a valued colleague and mentor to so many within CSWIR and the School of Education and Social Work and will be deeply missed!

We wish her all the best for her retirement and look forward to collaborating with her as an Emeritus professor in the future.
This month, we say goodbye to former CSWIR Director and Co-Director, colleague and friend, Gillian Ruch.

Gillian led the centre for six years years. During this time, she forged international connections, grew the centre’s reputation and was dedicated to supporting postgraduate researchers. (1/2)

It's World Social Work Day!🌈

Today, like every day, we honour the impact of social workers around the world.

Thank you to all the social workers out there👏❤️

As a group, we explored love as a radical tool for transformation – because relationships are not just the means; they are the end.

Thank you to our co-organisers Tim Fisher and Kar-Man!

And a huge thank you to all who came and contributed their experiences of love in social care. 💞
