I totally support blocking someone due to harassment, racial, sexual, whatever. Or a facist. But blocking anyone who isn’t as liberal/progressive as you and
encouraging others to do the same makes no sense to me. Why not listen?

Lots of people have trouble apologizing. But Nicole is on another level. #sellingsunset

The beauty of having a big tent is we have all kinds of options.
What works in one city may not work in another. The point is, find the folks who are the best fit for each place. The beauty of having a big tent is we have all kinds of options. I really hope folks finally get this message. We need moderate, liberal, AND progressive Democrats. We need em all.
JUST IN: Democrat Jacob Frey has been reelected as mayor of Minneapolis. In the final round of ranked-choice voting, he has defeated State Senator Omar Fateh, a democratic socialist challenger.

All these great wins didn’t just happen because we wished it or posted it into being. They are the result of work; canvassing, phone banking, postcards…and we’ll need to do it all again. Democracy doesn’t save itself.

I’m sure we’ll soon hear a ‘the people have spoken, I will listen’ speech from

Working to widen our circle of empathy — to widen our circle of belonging — is both morally and politically good. #ezraklein #nyt

I liked much of #ezraklein NYT piece. Personally I dislike purity tests. They may make you feel better but make it harder to win elections. Dems need to see differences as strengths not flaws. We don’t need to move left or right in order to represent more kinds of people in more kinds of places.
