What works in one city may not work in another. The point is, find the folks who are the best fit for each place. The beauty of having a big tent is we have all kinds of options. I really hope folks finally get this message. We need moderate, liberal, AND progressive Democrats. We need em all.

All these great wins didn’t just happen because we wished it or posted it into being. They are the result of work; canvassing, phone banking, postcards…and we’ll need to do it all again. Democracy doesn’t save itself.

I liked much of #ezraklein NYT piece. Personally I dislike purity tests.They may make you feel better but make it harder to win elections. Dems need to see differences as strengths not flaws. We don’t need to move left or right in order to represent more kinds of people in more kinds of places.
