Probably not the Bobs demographic…I imagine I am going to stand out like a sore thumb, but my ticket to Leeds is booked and I am VERY excited about this one! Also - I managed to watch the Glasto set through 2 full plays and well into a 3rd before it was pulled. It WAS fantastic.
Many thanks for a super talk last night with @profaliceroberts.bsky.social and now planning a little sojourn round some old haunts in South Wales…might even be tempted to wander through new haunts in Nantes. Certainly going to do a lot more reading! 10/10 recommend. #Domination #100%🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
Ah man - that’s so good to hear. Most PF fans look at me like I have a second head when I say it’s my fave. Nice to know I am not alone in the world, at least on this particular topic!
Although it does move around a little depending on how much Syd Barrett stuff I am digging in any given month, this still lands as my all time favourite PF album. And why Roger Waters has my undying love. Not for everyone, and not a perfect album. But my PF heaven.
My fingers are crossed but no code as of yet so this message leaves me less than convinced I am going to be lucky!! 🙃
Millionaire Waltz (tbf, there is barely a dropped note on Day at The Races as a whole).
Seeing his last tour was so special for me. A really great mix. Which reminds me, I haven’t ordered the new dvd of it. But that Wall tour. Was at Manchester for it and it was one of the best gigs I have ever been to. ❤️
When you flick about the channels, stumble onto #Queen #LiveatWembley on #SkyArts & they are playing Lap Of The Gods going into Seven Seas Of Rhye…it both makes me so happy we had Fred but also so sad we don’t anymore. Not my fave Queen era but 2 absolute undeniable crackers.
Don’t worry, King. There’s zero chance of that happening around my neck of the woods.
Bloodstock. Five days camping. Managed 40 bands. Discovered some absolute smashers. Drank a different ale every day. Stuck in traffic on way home. Absolutely exhausted. 11/10 -would do it again. #Bloodstock #BOA #Bloodstock2025
I moved from my homeland when I was 11. If I am asked I am still proudly Welsh from the rooftops. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Despite the recent rugby performance. I can’t see it as anything other than her desperately pandering to the Reform-ites.
It also has the potential to create a new swathe of extremists, hell bent on revenging the death and destruction of their family, friends and home. We are radicalising people every single hour, every single day, whilst we turn a blind eye to this appalling situation.
Your tweets inspired me. I am up to season 2. Really enjoying it too! I always enjoyed the Ferengi episodes. One of my fave Voyagers was the one they find the Ferengi princelings. 😉
Good. His statement was weaselly, changed “racist” to “racial”, no doubt hoping to lessen/minimise its impact - and MUST have known about Wallace so displayed either indifference or complacency at best. Good riddance. Maybe get some girls in now?
Still the only movie that genuinely gets my hackles up - terrified me first time round aged 11, 38 years ago.

We were so very lucky to have Freddie, weren’t we? #LiveAid
A little behind on Catch up. Queen at Live Aid is even better in context. Outstanding, emotional and difficult, if not impossible to top. God alive, Fred and the lads were good. #LiveAid #Queen #Freddie
I have a lot of confidence in Twickets. Used it multiple times and sold a ticket once when work got in the way of a good time. And with big bands/arena gigs, there is usually a good flurry of selling. Their USP is you can’t sell above face value so it’s fan supporting not price gouging/touting.

Both my kids were out of nappies by 2 (25 years ago now! Eek!) and I am flabbergasted at the thought there are kids 3+ with no extenuating circumstances, still in nappies. Jeepers!

Get yer sens to Bloodstock next month. You will be tripping over good rock/metal talent - from all over the world!
Posted 3 postcards in Wales for Notts recently. All 1st class. 1 arrived the day after box was emptied, 1 arrived 2 days after the 1st, 1 yet to arrive (over a week now). Paid over a fiver for 3 stamps and only have 2/3 arrivals. Sucks really. What if it was something crucial like a hospital appt?
Full kudos to the BBC who managed to do an hour programme on Live 8 and not once mention or show anything of the Pink Floyd reunion. I am sure that’s nothing to do with Roger Waters. Dickheads.
Glad to hear it! Hearing the old stuff live after all these decades - so unexpected and so very excellent! Hope we haven’t seen the last of them!
Did you happen to catch Nick Mason touring with his Saucerful of Secrets? Was other-worldly!
This statement is also a lie. I streamed it twice in the evening on iPlayer - it dipped out on the third stream at around midnight ish. So it WAS available and watchable pretty much all day and night. BTW - it was brilliant.
This BBC statement defames Bobby Vylan.

"Death to the IDF" is not antisemitic.

Declaring this to be so is antisemitic, because it conflates Jewish people as a whole with a genocidal army.

People's fury is directed at heinous crimes, not the ethnicity of the perpetrators.
