As a reminder, their arrest took place in international waters NOT in “Israeli territory” and they were heading towards Gaza which is not part of Israel. The only reason they were in “Israel” is because the Israelis illegally pirated their vessel and kidnapped them and brought them to Israel.

They were detained for refusing to sign a document requiring them to acknowledge that they entered Israeli territory illegally, a condition imposed by Israel for their release.

For 600 days, the Israeli army has been bombing, starving and burning Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Even though a ceasefire had started early 2025, hope soon vanished when the army initiated the war again, killing thousands since March.
