not only am I 4 days behind on my drawtober, the deadline for the next one is tomorrow, ugh 😭 I've been feeling off since the beginning of Oct, I thought it was stress from mom's surgery or FrogCon but it's just getting worse?

listen, I would LOVE to only be disabled in evenings or weekends, or maybe every other Friday, but it doesn’t work like that…

looking “normal” for a few hours takes a LOT of work and energy and many disabled and chronically ill folks don’t even have that luxury

went to bed after 5am, woke up at 7:45am :( even for me with chronic sleep deprivation and insomnia, this sucks

the hospital continues to be unhelpful, every time I’ve called for three days the nurses tell me “call back in an hour”, I do, they say “call back in an hour”, infinite loop

my mom is feeling worse from complications:( so she’ll still be in the hospital a while but she’s out of the icu!

okay spoke to my mom and she’s currently stable (though they may need to do another surgery) hoping everything goes well and she can go home soon

things definitely took a turn last night and they gave her a med she explicitly cant have under any circumstances but I spoke to the nurse this morning and she’s stable

i never slept so hopefully i can do that

called and she’s been getting a blood transfusion for hours :( they also had her medical info incorrect… I need to get some sleep but what the heck…

things have been more complicated and she’s been in the OR most of the day and the hospital refuses to update any members of family, so that’s cool; my sister was there all day and they sent her home without info and refused to update my other sister because they were going to call me (they didn’t)
