It’s not law. Read his end notes after the story. This clause got pulled from the Big Ugly Bill. Honestly, knowing this is the case and posting the story anyway without leading context is not responsible. I’m disappointed in him.

I will not throw praise to an Orange Clown who pushes for peace only after Gaza is entirely destroyed and when he stands to benefit from that destruction.

He will invoke it. If he loses the House the game is up. The bigger question is will the joint chiefs consider it an unlawful order, and stand down.

Chairman Cain does not have operational authority over the military. If Trump issues an executive order placing control in Cain’s hands we will know.
