the thing is both men and women are really gay. the issue is that men have homosocial places to be gay but actively refuse it and even kill men over the possibility b/c manhood relies on misogynistic self-differentiation & policing of effeminacy. and women want to be gay but have no places to be gay

There's a reason why I'm so critical of how black characters are designed and treated because once you realize how racism is deeply embedded into a lot of art you just have to look at things deeper than just being a simple design.
