Visited #theBordersdistillery back in January and picked up bottles of the Malt & Rye and The Long & Short of it (both didn't last long) so looking forward to trying their 3rd release Right as Rain tomorrow

Now this one is a bit chewier and has more body to it
P: toasted malt loaf with orange marmalade, 5 spice and the chewed pencil taste.
Might be cask char but also getting a subtle hint of smoke

Recent auction buy of an early doors release from my favourite Indy* TBWC
NAS but i would suggest this was on the younger side
Still has all the caramel and popcorn notes I love from Invergordon but a bit more fiery
