Finally getting close to the end :P
Next was Rhyder's Bushwacker. Lots of nice raised panels for bright colouring :)
Really love the bushwacker's design
Plus more use out of DeadlyPrint's beautiful 3d print fx

I really like the visual differences between the classic Wolfhound and the newer CGL take on it. Looks significantly less derpy. But I prefer the silly little triple-nipples on the old look more haha
After the Axeman came Ciro's Wolfhound. I really love the posing on this one. Wish more minis, both #battletech and #Warhammer, would go for the take-a-knee pose in their models.
This was an interesting one to paint with that mirky blue-white primary colour. #paintingminiatures from May 1st 2025
yooo that's sweet!
Kinda digging the almost mute militaristic paint scheme :)
My Wolvie is like 60% done but I just gave up cuz the paint wasn't as dark as I remembered and wanted it to match my Griffin
It does yeah. I wish we'd get the axeman in some of the games.
Here's hoping one of the dlc's for MW5:Clans will be a retelling of the animated series and give us the Axeman and Bushwacker for Mercenaries while they're at it :P
I will say I'm not super happy with how this one turned out. But it was such a disgusting paint scheme to do haha
I then took quite a length diversion from #battletech to do catch up on my warhammer pile of shame. Before returning with the Somerset Strikers box and painting up Steiner's Axeman in April this year...quite the batteltech break XD
#paintingminiatures
This was done in June 2024. And the fx are by the incredible DeadlyPrintStudios. They really need to make more BTech fx
Not long after the Griffin came my Locust LCT-5M / 1VB (Depending on how I feel I guess, could be ran as either).
The paint scheme is based off of the Orloff's Grenadiers, but this particular lineup of paints has become LosTech to me...I forgot what I used XD

Damn that's impressive. My friend slaps with the locust in MW5:M when we used to do coop games. But I've yet to actually do a match of an actual game. I've played some MekLab but . . . princess . . . she is an unforgiving devil
I do also have a wasp from the alpha strike box but I have him primed up white to one day actually try using my airbrush, once i'm feeling brave enough
This was around April or May 2024
Good thing I have a pair of locusts then haha
Guess we'll start at the beginning.
My first introduction to #battletech being the Griffin GRF-1N that was part of the Introduction box, along with a Vindicator that I gave up on painting cuz it looked atrocious with contrast paints XD
#paintingminiatures
I should really post more of my minis here, since i've been doing a lot them lately
Ahhh heh that would make sense then :P
I like them as a 'toss in to fill the roster' kind of mech but generally speaking if you have an alternative I suppose it's better to go with that instead haha
Now just need something else for this lance. Debating between another Urbie and/or a Crusader
Ooh I like it! Looks like it could be the cover for a book.
Oh by the way
Mind me asking how you made your background for your photos? That landscape the base is on.
I've always wanted to do something similar for my own photography, since everything I paint is on a moonscape inspired by this landscape
yooo awesome work! Came out looking better than mine.
Extra based because you used the one from the Somerset Strikers box set too :P
I wish my camera did a better job with the photography focusing lol
Panther PNT-9/ALAG painted up
Honestly pretty happy with how this has turned out, except for the cockpit glass and maybe the ppc.
But for what it is I'm certainly good with my work :P
