I understand wanting nice things, what I don't understand is folks not wanting nice things for others. Like there's a zero-sum game on the nice things. There isn't. Most of us waste more food per month than folks receive on SNAP. And if it wasn't for an immigrant, none of us would have any food!

My nerves almost got the better of me, to the point of doing a ride thru before we parked. And you know what I saw? Something very reminiscent of Mardi Gras!! It was beautiful and I've been on a natural high all day. It hurts my heart that you didnt get any of that goodness😞

America is like a massive steam locomotive. It takes a while to get going, it's messy as hell, but it can be damned near unstoppable at full throttle.

Good article, but I do have to clarify something. The "No Kings" movement is not just left-leaning. It is across the board politically, just based on saving our Democratic Republic.
I went to one today and saw self-labeled "Conservative Christians" protesting Trump. I was shocked!

I attended one😊 My area, population-wise, is about the same as Swansea and we had both sides of the road full for over four blocks! It was a Mardi Gras party of dissent!
My heart is full. I danced with grandmothers, I waved and grinned at babies and screamed loudly. Even made new dog friends♥️
