Although I was in the back, nor did I get to meet Monica that night, the highlight (outside of being at my first Monica show) was her tweeting me after the show. Now that was SO amazing, unforgettable! 🥰

I was wayyyy in the back for this show. lol 😩 But still happy af & I had my poster, though Monica didn't see it. Haha! 😂 The little bit of footage/pics I have of that show is indeed not the best. I know, I know, but I was there! 😭

My first Monica show was way back in 2010 at the Passion, Pain & Pleasure tour with Trey Songz. 🙌🏾 Cause 8 y/o me missed seeing her 1st STL show, performing at the VP Fair in 95. I wasn't going to miss her 2nd show in my city.💃🏾 #TBIMtour

Heartbreaking: Neo-soul legends Angie Stone and D’Angelo both passed away in 2025, just 7 months apart. Stone died in March at 63. D’Angelo died today at 51. They shared a son together. An entire generation’s soundtrack, gone. Rest in power to both 🕊️💔

Brandy was super duper nice. She clowned my phone! 🤣 She was like "girl, you better get a new one, nobody else would stand here and do this, I'm nice". Then she asked her makeup artist to take a pic & send it to me. She loved my momma tho! lol Told us to get a pic together with her. 😍

Brandy was amazing twice!🥰 I lingered til the staff started kicking us out. 1 of the staff was a college classmate of mine. We got to chatting & he asked if I wanted to meet her, I was like hell yeah! He told me to stand over by the side of the stage, that's where she'll do a m&g. AND it happened! 😍

Randomly, the show promoter came out & asked me (& my momma) how we liked the show & if we were staying for the 2nd one. I told him I didn't have tickets for the next show. He said, "don't worry about it, just stay, the seats are sold out, but just stand in the back with me". So we did! 🙌🏾😭🙌🏾

Luckily, I got front row seats. Had my posters. lol I be so serious & my momma always be down for my shenanigans. 😁 She had 2 shows back to back, only had tix for the 1st one. At the end, Brandy came over to me, read my poster, gave me a hug & asked if I enjoyed the show. 🥰😍
