I added a πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ to my display name. For some reason it feels a lot heavier than updating my MSN Messenger Display name decades ago.

I dislike nationalism and even patriotism to an extent. However if I am willing to die over these imaginary lines in the dirt, I might as well fly the flag.
Much like how Democrats are moving right in an errant adventure to collect votes, so is the NDP.

Their financial supporters go further right, but not further left. Capitalism means funding matters more than votes. Votes come and go, funding is what pays the bills.
NDP is dismally depressing in Sask too. They ran on more cops, and more surveillance. Pretty quiet on charter rights being suspended though.

Ugh.

Do you have any idea how little that narrows it down dot JPG
Leftists don't like liberals either. But calling them liberals is usually insult enough.

Liberals are closer to being fascist than being leftist.

Better than AnCaps, but everybody hates AnCaps because age of consent laws are their version of tyranny.

This will likely breakdown as a urban/rural thing though. City people don't need guns for their day-to-day.

Cars are becoming a weapon of terrorism. Should we ban cars? Speed limiters? Ban the assault-style cars?

Besides, during a fascist uprising is probably a horrible time to disarm the people.
So everyone keeps saying Trump and his goons will face justice, but presidents have pardoned whole armies before.

If he just pardons everyone in his administration including ICE, then what?

The Dems will be just as powerless at prosecuting them as they are now.

What am I missing?
He will be raised up as a martyr just like last time.

Kirk will be more useful to them dead than when he was ever alive.

Style is subjective. Canada bans center fire magazines over five rounds. That makes more sense than relying on aethesetic.

Grandpa's old Mosin might hunt deer now, but it was a weapon of war too.

Mass-produced rifles are cheap, which means barring them hurts the poorest first as well.
Voting for genocide to keep yourself comfortable isn't the moral win people think it is.

The winning move was for Kamala to be against genocide. She chose fascism.

America collapsing and no longer able to project it's insane whims on other countries will be seen as a win, just not for Americans.
Wait. So more asphalt for car storage, but sidewalks gotta go?

Ugh. I need to escape to the woods.
The protest was apparently kid friendly as well.

I don't recall many protests with people bringing their kids.

Did they serve food and fundraise during downtime at the protest too?

It's just really weird to compare to even other American protests like BLM. Seems permitted, if not encouraged.
Sure, no king. But America gave the president the powers of a king.

However, kings follow habeas corpus, presidents seem to ignore it.

So what does protesting kings in a king-less society even mean? A king is more bound to law and order than an American president.

Seems like a fun holiday though.
I'm sure their stock ownership ensures they're paid for killing Venezuelans too.

Invest in weapons, vote and support conflicts, profit.

Gaza has around 20,000 unexploded Israeli bombs amid up to 70 million tonnes of rubble, posing a massive threat to Palestinians, as removal is blocked by Israel’s ban on heavy equipment, according to the Government Media Office.

Let me give you an example.

The plural (more than one) of Goose, is Geese.

You cannot plural moose to meese. This is because 'Moose' isn't an English word, it's a North American indigenous word, so regular rules don't apply.

Most speakers don't know why we can't say meese. But they know not to.
English is an insanely difficult language even for native speakers when it comes to grammar rules. This is because it's a language that just borrows and takes words from other languages.

So for every rule in English, there are many exceptions to the rule. Almost making the 'rule' pointless.
Interesting! And so this is when all the apples are harvested here, so apple pie, apple cider, apple everything. Apples all over the place.

So I wonder if I never noticed them, thinking they were apples, or because the apple harvest is so large, they don't import persimmons.

I'm always learning!
That is really interesting! I have never even heard of one before your post.

I'll be keeping an eye out for them now, but I don't think they are something our grocery stores stock regularly. I searched and found persimmon scented things, and decorative ornaments but not the fruit itself.
Another oil pipeline surely won't be another straw on the camel's back! /s
You have a lot of respect from me for even attempting to learn English. I'm a native speaker and the language is ridiculous. I often joke that most native speakers are not fluent in English it's that complicated.

Honestly many Japanese I have met write better English than many people I know.
I have never had a "persimmon" (translated by Google). Says it's like a tomato but sweeter flesh? Honestly I can't imagine that.

I tried a lot of different foods in Japan and yet seemed to have missed so much! Though I recently saw natto for sale in our breakfast aisle. Maybe I'll see more.
