In most modern democracies, the rise of new parties is seen as something natural and parliaments represent the public in all its diversity.

But our weird voting system can't handle more than two options.

People have moved on from the two-party era. Our voting system must follow.

Don't forget🚨

70 per cent of the money from lifting the two-child cap is going to children whose parents are working.

A third of Universal Credit claimants are in work. People claim benefits to reduce their hours to raise children or care for parents.

How to score high with Google’s Content Effort signal
Every so often, something surfaces from Google’s black box of algorithms that makes SEOs sit up straight. The recent Google leak did exactly that — and tucked away inside it was one particularly revealing signal: contentEffort. It’s a machine-learning metric that attempts to quantify how much genuine human effort went into creating a page. In other words, Google is literally measuring how hard you worked on your content.

If you're a National Trust member, it's that time of year again: Midnight tonight is the deadline. It's a shame people have to keep doing this to keep a toehold on historical truth in this country, but here we are. Voting link: www.nationaltrust.org.uk/who-we-are/a...

Chose to rewatch For Your Eyes Only for James Bond Day, that is a straight up great movie and stands the test of time pretty well - and unbelievably well for a Bond film.

We’ll get our Rocky Bushiri moment and come out of this. Believe. #COYR #standfree
Nope. It’s frustrating, upsetting, but we were better tonight, much more disciplined, the formation largely worked, we created several good chances, but how can Jimmy Thelin legislate for Nesbit (x2), Keskinen, Lazetic, etc missing golden chances? There is ZERO confidence in front of goal. #COYR

Today is World Lung Day. A pleasant surprise to have the @sarcoidosisuk.bsky.social charity feature my comic about being diagnosed with pulmonary sarcoidosis.

Please spare a thought today for those affected by the range of conditions that affect our lungs, from asthma to COPD to Sarcoidosis.

A thousand times this.
Why are the American president's claims about autism the first item on British news bulletins?

He's not our president, the advice doesn't apply here and he's not presented any evidence to support his assertions.

So why spread these claims? What make this the biggest story in the UK?

I’ve had to unfollow a ton of Dons accounts this afternoon because I made the mistake of thinking those who transition from Twitler would be less reactionary but oops me.
