When you’re planning the biggest heist of the century, you need as much distraction as you can muster. As Maddow always reminds “Watch what they do and not what they say.” It’s the backroom deals while everyone is scrambling to putting out fires that are probably the end game.
Now that Congress has found their spine on the Epstein matter and have managed to speak with one voice to this Administration, it is past time to do the same in support of Ukraine. Please call or email your Representatives and demand they immediately call for a resolution in support of Ukraine.

Interesting math and it could get even more interesting if a few other Republicans get frustrated and decide to follow MTG out the door instead of getting primaried or face a blue wave election.

My expectation is we are going to see the script from “Wag the Dog” form some basis of the next big distraction. The old school Navy of the post 1900’s would sail into ports as a threatening symbol and show of USA power. Putting an aircraft carrier in the Caribbean is likely more than just for show.

Politics is messy but the next election is about whether you want a secret police state or a messy democracy with imperfect politicians. I never understood the pro-Palestine folks not gonna support Kamala and we got Trump. Sometimes the imperfect politician is a better course than the Anti-Christ.

There is a lot going on and it is impossible for any of us to play call what is the right move in a chess match. I would like to know more about the impact on forcing the house back in session. If Allison Gill is right and a bomb is going to drop on the Epstein matter, then maybe this is strategic.

Two GOP Congressmen are running for Arizona Governor in 2026. Andi Biggs (endorsed by Trump) & David Schweikert. Perhaps one of them could man up and sign the petition as a bipartisan act to draw wider independent support by being anti child trafficking, especially given what is going to come out.

If there are 100 Republicans that would vote for the release, why can’t just one have enough courage to sign the petition. Especially if you were a GOP member with statewide ambitions in Arizona. You could say you are doing it for those in the district that isn’t being represented.

Congress needs to start investigating how many new ICE agents have ties to White Nationalist groups. I think in a bipartisan way, it is in Congress own best interest to get control of ICE. My fear is that the next Jan 6 may have a paid armed mercenary squad at Trumps disposal. Congress take note.
