Apparently hot take but Balatro wasn't as good as it's given credit for. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my time with it. But it was carried by mass appeal due to its easy to understand, poker-like gameplay. As roguelike, it was alright. Significantly better ones exist. I hope people try more of them.

I spent a large portion of this week planning, building, and testing a solution to a problem someone brough to me at work. I'm pretty proud of what I came up with.
I just found out they no longer need it because they're changing their process instead. When did they know this? Tuesday, of course. 😐
