It lays like a shroud over the storm-ravaged fields, shielding from discovery the body of Finarfin Noldor, bloated and bloody, where it lays at the center of the mire. For as little as they've seen their neighbors in recent weeks, one might wonder if the entire farm had somehow slipped into limbo. Not even Amarië has shown her face since Orry disappeared. Under the cover of this eerie gray dawn, Galadriel slips from the barn and creeps back to the farmhouse, clutching the tattered remains of her shift around her body. Willing herself to move as silently as a wraith, to blend with the mists around her, passing invisibly across the yard until she is safe within her room.
