I'll listen to those boys talk about anything.
cowbear.bsky.social
Me too!
Back in their early days I always tried to watch the movie, but now I just listen. I haven't seen any of em!

I'm learning the art of push back.

It feels good actually.

I download my own copy of something if it's been shared with me via SharePoint. I can't stand it.
I'm Gen x as well, I don't trust machines to think for me and I don't like other people touching my spreadsheets.

The Five Doctors didn't actually happen, it's just a fever dream of the 5th Doctor.

Tell me your most unhinged Doctor Who opinion. I mean, if you’re a fan, they’re likely all unhinged anyway.

And don't get me started on SharePoint! And OneDrive!

You use auto save 😬
Never. I never use it that toggle is off! I save mine manually after every correct action. Autosave is evil. It saves when I don't I want it saved because sometimes I'm just doing edits so I can create a new document and I don't want to overwrite the original data.

Is Stephen Colbert on a holiday? I miss his monologues on YouTube.

I'm converted. It's brilliant!
I had the most basic training in Excel years ago, and everything else I've picked up by trial and error, and asking Google. I'll add this post-it note to my collection of must have formulas stuck all over my monitors. 😃

I just tried it and left both fields blank and it worked!
I'll use the "" next time in case it goes funky.

Thank you this is an actual lifesaver!

No more cutting and pasting columns

What do I put in the if not found and match mode?

Holy new look up Batman!

I am ignorant of this I must try it.

OMG I just noticed that vlookup tells you the column number as you scroll across the spreadsheet. I have always counted. Counted the columns! Counted! Sometimes over the alphabet number and into the next 26!
Please tell me this is a new feature and I haven't just wasted 12+ years counting columns?!

I've been there, the little monster got me on the legs, kept launching at me after I'd snatch my cat and was holding him close to my chest, the intruder kept leaping trying to get Toby and trying to punish me for taking his enemy out of the picture. Leg ripped to shreds, couldn't walk for days.

Did you mean that to be so... Saucy?

Most of our houses are bungalows, so I guess that's why we can put windows everywhere. We love the sun!
cowbear.bsky.social
It's what made me think about it, how I thought it was like UK houses.
cowbear.bsky.social
Yeah, there's a worrying trend here with all the modern townhouses I see being built around me, they have not thought whatsoever about light and sun, most have their stairs or toilet positioned for the full sun and living in darkness because that's how they get as many on a site as possible.
cowbear.bsky.social
I thought maybe it's because the houses are old and maybe it's a structural thing? Perhaps windows weaken the walls because they're all brick (I know nothing about structural engineering), or perhaps it's a throwback to the window tax? Or maybe as you say, they're all just so close together.
cowbear.bsky.social
Why do detached, semi detached and end terrace houses in England not have windows on the side walls? Maybe the odd small window up top, but not in the living areas. Gross overgeneralization I'm sure it's not every house. But I see it a lot on TV.

Does magnesium for sleep work?
cowbear.bsky.social
Ha, no. He comes in the cat flap, or through the door if it's open.
