FF TU3 collab, wilds itself is fine besides the performance issues ofc.

It's just that when a new tu comes out it comes with people enjoying mh as a whole and talking about their favs, which results in some being a bit hyperbolic about it which creates some "no this one sucks you're an idiot" etc

Sunbreak gave LS a nerf and people were overjoyed because it's hip to hate that weapon but oops sorry you can't do that with 4U CB apparently (they both deserved it)

One common criticism i saw was weapons being butchered and when i played i honestly couldn't feel the butcher people really talked about besides some weird stuff like GL heat gauge.

But yes CB deserved a nerf bro it was absurd in 4U you can't deny that and pretend the weapon was butchered come on

It died down now but it was interesting to see the recent GU hate from this past week on the other site's mh community, social media really makes people just talk about things in ways that are so sarcastic and ragebaity that I can't help but feel like a lot of it was not even genuine.

This is mostly a problem around the younger side of the community because social media relishes in those interactions, it loves conflict and unfortunately a lot of young folks have 0 self control.

Furries can't even handle furries that are unapologetically weird tbh because in the end they're still people subject to the propaganda of "Being normal"

If one does sex jokes often on their own page you'll constantly see other furs being like "ugh furries never beating the allegations bro!"

Thinking about how it's hard for me to be open about my interests, a core memory I have is putting something I liked in a music bot in vc and it being promptly mocked by a friend that it made me never do it again unless it was something I already knew others liked. Happened like 8 years ago

Like you gotta be a bit braver and not always head to the shield otherwise you genuinely mess up aggro and it turns into random rocket spam.

I think people don't really get yet that the shield on omega's head is best used to give the tank a bit of a breathing room while everyone else hits the legs because you're just taking aggro away from your tank if you just huddle up there bro

So sure, it's better than behemoth but that is a massively low bar to clear, I could talk about the issues in it forever but my end thoughts is that I don't think it's a good hunt at all, it's just the adrenaline that feels "hype".

- Lance can tank sure, but you miss like half the pokes you do resulting in unsatisfying gameplay
- The arenas really don't help this fight
- If you get an ok tank and healer you realize the fight is kinda??? boring???? it's just hitting the leg over and over and over again for almost 30 minutes

After more days:
- Nerscylla phase is really really bad
- Takes too long for someone to draw aggro
- Getting hit once in this fight is essentially a death sentence unless someone is on potion chugging duty (me), why are ANY of these attacks STUMBLES dude why aren't they knockdowns oh my god

Cleared it almost 10 times now. Hmm I think after making the omega/savage stuff it won't be a hunt I'll be coming back to. I like hunts where people cart a lot because I think it's kinda funny (Hazard P.Malz, Fatalis, 9 stars) but I don't particularly have fun fighting this guy
