Anyone here attending #gls25? This will be the first year since I started attending where I can't live-sketch, but I'm hoping I can catch the recordings later! (This was the only time it was going to work for our family to schedule Ben's Make-a-Wish trip.)

Optometrist appt today. I’m at the age where I was asked if I prefer better distance vision with contacts and potential reading glasses or a lower prescription. I felt the tension of choosing between books and birds. (I chose birds.)

It got interrupted a few times because my laptop has a memory leak somewhere and I’d have to restart, but I could just reset the extension to the last-imported date and start it again.

I used the Porto extension to migrate 19.1k of my 22k tweets over several days (yay vacation). After downloading my Twitter archive, I connected the extension to Bluesky and my archive files and walked away.
