Not an actual street but if I was, I'd be a people friendly street. Miserable bugger irl. Fish guts free cask beer in gorgeous pubs. Utility cycling, Oxford, London, reformed quizzer, bad jokes, constantly profiled as Camra member in said gorgeous pubs.

One couldn't imagine St Peter's Square being over run by stored vehicles these days but it wasn't so long ago that is was a car park
Hot take: this is the best bike infrastructure built in Oxford this year
Looks like there's competition for Elwoods at Borough Market.
I thought observation time - certainly in Oxfordshire - was from council guidance to contractors ie it's a political choice to allow 15 mins rather than, say, 5 mins.
Are you sure I can't cycle round the Tower of London?
They should mackem again
Sorry to snark, cos it's an excellent beer, but it really wasn't very foamy at all last week in Ouseburn X

The US and the UK are currently suffering from mass nationalist hysteria drummed up by politicians and the wealthy they serve, and all because those folk need a distraction from them robbing both countries blind. #UKpol #USpol
Wanted to take a picture of the beautiful Grey St, Newcastle, and made it even better by persuading these fine people of the @leagueacs.bsky.social to take part. Take part yourself by pledging to complete the promised gov consultation to end hunting with dogs for good.

Canny use of Geordie slang here in Oxford.
“The Netty” in St Giles’ offers two suites, each with its own flight of steps, offering “a one-of-a-kind boutique stay in central Oxford, set within beautifully restored Victorian public toilets”. Railings by William Lucy thenetty.co.uk
One of the few things Beryl do right with their hire bikes (in Worcester, Norwich etc) is to charge the rider £10 immediately if the bike is parked out of bay. No tepid, ignored warnings such those as given by Lime and Voi in Oxford.

Social media is not equivalent to the BBC (a public broadcaster should be held to a far higher standard, it's funded by us, it has privileged access to audiences, that's the whole point) but sheesh compare the government reaction to when a single person at Radio Westmorland does a bad Facebook post.
Keir Starmer's spokesman asked if the Government plans to remain on X, given its AI bot has been making antisemitic comments and endorsing Hitler, replies that this is an "internal" matter for the company
Big fan of this place for being one of the few pubs that only seem to serve vegan friendly cask beer.
That's excellent. More of these please!
Now, if someone could persuade the Trellint/Licensing to do something about all the illegal and unsafe taxi (and other) parking here, add on a functional speed camera and this crossing might start feeling quite safe.
Something could have been done about this in the recent street works but I guess no one wants to walk 30 seconds to a car @badlyparkedox.bsky.social
We've bought some to use as ice in bloody mary's. What could go wrong?
Still might be 😳

🔴The ‘Millionaire Exodus’ the UK Media Told You About Never Actually Happened

The equivalent of 30 stories a day were published about an exodus of wealthy people that a new study finds was “non existent”
