Okay I know the @mta.info is always complaining about money, but has anyone thought about having them TURN DOWN THE HEAT ON THE TRAINS DURING WINTER. It can be 70 instead of 80, y’all will save a pretty penny, and we wont have to SWEAT.

This is a strategic move for Biden because it would be held up in the courts for years.
Breaking News: President Biden’s staff is said to be debating whether he should issue blanket pardons for a swath of President-elect Donald Trump’s perceived enemies to protect them from the “retribution” he has threatened after he takes office.

Scientists are reporting that it would take just a single mutation in the version of bird flu that has swept through U.S. cattle herds to produce a virus adept at latching on to human cells, a much simpler step than previously imagined.
Single bird flu mutation could let it latch easily to human cells, study finds
The potential mutation would allow the avian influenza virus sweeping through cattle herds to attach to a receptor protein on the surface of our cells.

Texas and Georgia are blocking the review and release of information on the deaths of pregnant women from abortion bans.

The GOP knows the stories of pregnant women dying preventable deaths sounds bad. So they're making sure you never hear about them.

“Don’t feed the trolls” also extends to bad opinion pieces in papers of record.

They run them bc people react to them the most.

If we stop linking to bad columns and instead post thinkers we find valuable (& generate convo around it), incentives change.

It’s not easy and takes constant practice!
