IMO Rhystic is properly included on the Game Changers list, not banned. It is super-annoying to play against; when handled correctly it taxes everyone's spells, though there's always one or more people who just jam spells into it and give the controller a ton of cards and make you feel dumb.

It's also hilarious that just one land provides black mana that could unlock the non-adventure side of 4 spells, and that qualifies this as Rakdos Aggro as opposed to Monored Aggro 😂

I'm not sure who's picking feature matches for SCGCON Baltimore coverage, but I'd think you'd bend over backwards to avoid Vivi Cauldron mirror matches on Day 1; there will be a lot less non-Vivi decks at the top tables Day 2 so you'll have your pick of Vivi mirrors tomorrow.

That has always made sense to me, and has never been difficult to explain to newer Commander players. That said, I'm not militant about it, and if the stewards of the format decide to change that, I'm not going to get super mad about it. I'll still love the format, but I will be sad about it. 2/2

How hybrid mana cards work in Commander for me is pretty simple. Your commander setting the color identity of your deck is a pillar of the format I really enjoy. A card w/hybrid mana symbols in its mana cost is each color that appears in its mana cost, regardless of what mana was spent to cast it 1/
