I just collect old stuff. It's not hoarding if it's functional, right? (previously @compgeke on birdapp)
Local news is San Francisco USD is heading to a strike just after West Contra Costa USD did. Both largely over pay issues and budgetary restraints on districts. I've got some feelings about this.

The bulk can be condensed to "We need to rethink schools and neighborhoods".

Why isn't "Power outage load shedding" a thing on PoE switches?

Maybe I'm a bit odd, but I'd 100% make use of being able to send a basic signal to a switch and have it cut off certain "less important" ports as UPS gets lower and lower.

In less upsetting news (unless you hate IBM) here's a project I've been working on: The IBM PS/2 Model 40/57/77 SFX Adaption Kit.

This setup lets you replace the original failure prone (and not just from caps!) PSUs with an SFX power supply.

One of the biggest problems with the Current Era is we aren't allowed to get good Woke Music in response to current events anymore. You just get ex-disney stars making pop.
