Spent Sunday fettling with another four 1541 drives. Nothing I did went right. Ended up having all four in bits with various issues and couldn't sort a fecking thing. I rage quit the ManCave. Hoping to get my Mojo back sometime this week.

Couple of days later all fixed and ready to go. Learned that a WDC65C02 works but isn't 100% compatible (probable illegal op codes missing or timing) and also reminded that burning tants don't smell good. Other than that, there's 8 more drives ready to be released to the wild. DM me if you want one.
