Another thing I should add, the biggest reason why most pirate games (from what I can tell anyway) is for easy accessibility in playing games. Because so many games aren't available on modern platforms, emulating is the only way they can be played and that goes a long way in its importance.

I wouldn't say I'm an advocate for piracy but gaming as a whole owes a lot to it. Of course no big company is ever going to admit that because it'd run counter to their business models (yes even the ones who are more lenient). We straight up wouldn't have gotten to this point without it.

Companies will never admit this but it's fact that piracy, emulation and modding are incredibly important to the history of video games. A lot of developers got their start in rom hacks and mods and piracy and emulators allowed games to be ported and played en masse.

Thinking of having a flash sale for comms soon since my textbooks for school are hella expensive and I'm about to have more monthly payments. Expect that to come in maybe a week or so since I'm not getting a lot of shifts in the latter half of the month.
