The entire economy and companies' balance sheets are proped up by the debt that individuals take out to buy their crap. Without the individual consumer taking out massive amounts of debt most companies wouldn't have any customers.

Money for Private enterprises are wants, but money for public services are a need. if you can't properly fund your need you don't spend on your wants. also, money given to private companies should be seen as investments that pay returns to the government as a way of generating additional revenue.

People don't want great dole models inherently, they want role models that help them cope with life in a way that seemingly benefits them. Bad role models can benefit people in the short term and lead them stray in the long term.

The West's economy has stagnated because we don't know what to move on, too, while large sections of our population are stuck in hard financial times, believing that economic reverse will save them. We need to move forward and bring our fallen brothers and sisters with us.

always kind of assumed that as we globalized more than people would become more cohesive and malleable in how cultures coexisted. However, people seem more fearful and unwilling to mingle using geographic borders as the reason. We are more alike than we are different.
