That $230 million seems to match cost of new Trump Wing.( Raskin on Tyler Cohen). Trump isn’t withdrawing anything. You withdraw funds from an account that is legitimately yours. The Treasury isn’t Trump’s bank, he has no account there. This is unprecedented, new terminology needed

Under federal Tort Claims Act, federal official (DOJ?)can approve. If Congress were in session, could use domestic emoluments clause to stop this. Case of 1st impression. Congress seems hamstrung. Per Jamie Raskin on Brian Tyler Cohen. Shall add that feds don’t hurry to send my tax refund.

National Building Museum has marvelous hall for state dinners. DC is not bereft of options. Ok, maybe we can preserve Trump’s hall as artifact of time when democracy almost lost. If built, Arc de Trump over Memorial Bridge would be in same category. Neither represents the country or it’s people.
