Husband and I made a whole Pokemon AU, so I had to draw my two main boys first, obviously.

Aloys the Steel-type E4 member, and Seòras the Champion with (mostly) Fairy types.

Gotta draw Aloys as the Rock-tyoe gym leader, too. And all the other chars, but... We shall see.

#oc #art #ocart #pokemon
Art of a character named Aloys in a Pokemon AU. He's wearing coveralls and welding gear of gloves, a jacket, and flipped-up face shield. The color palette is mostly white with dark blue-grey patches and navy accents. He has a Pokeball in his left hand and a slag stirring rod in his right.

His pose has him in motion, right leg up like he's ready to engage. His expression is excited, ready to battle. Art of a character named Seòras in a Pokemon AU. He's wearing a sleeveless shirt, fingerless gloves, chaps, and riding boots. He has cloth hanging off his belt and golden loops of ribbon around his chest and draped off his belt. His color palette is primarily dark hot-pink and wine, with dark boots and gloves, and white-leather chaps.

He's standing sideways to the viewer, his hand holding a Pokeball raised up by his face. His expression is serious, like he's ready for a challenge.

Back to the campaign: Vex is in it, so THAT'S fun.

At least he isn't evil. But he *does* disguise himself to chill with his family without having to be the Imperator™.

Not much of a disguise, but considering he doesn't look like an angel... Not stupid if it works!

#oc #art #dndart #pathfinder
Art done of a Pathfinder 1e character named Sarhan Vex. He is a solar angel with dark brown skin, golden hair & eyes, a halo, and sunset colored hawk wings. He's wearing Ruborin's Imperial armor and a gold cape. Two drawings showing Sarhan/Vex. The first shows him in his human "disguise," the second in his usual angel form.

As Sarhan, he has black hair and eyes, his scars are a natural color, and there's no glow or halo. He also wears an eye patch over his right eye.

As Vex, he's back to having golden hair, eyes, scars, and his halo.

Other than the colors/glow, eye patch, and halo, there are no differences between his two forms.

Was rotating a canon-adjacent AU with my husband and became contractually obligated to sketch some baby Aloys as a 15yo.

Disaster boy, disaster man. Sorry for the malnourishment you go through. 😔

#oc #art #dndart #pathfinder
A collection of four sketches showing a PF1e character named Aloys. The drawings show him as a teenager, around 15 years old.

In the bottom right, a colored drawing shows him with short-yet-floppy brown hair, blue & green eyes, and light beige skin. In this drawing, he has a bruise on his left cheek and left elbow, and he's standing with his arms crossed, looking stern.

The other drawings are black-and-white sketches. One shows him blushing with a shy smile, another shows him running with a mischievous grin, and one shows him seated with another teenage boy leaning against him.

Addicted to drawing outfits right now. 😔

But! Congrats to Karim for marrying the Imperator's son and not only getting a Major Economic Boost but also converting and joining the Empire's military because you wanted to protect your boyfriend (who's also now the messiah).

#art #oc #dndart #pathfinder
Art showing two different outfits for a Pathfinder 1e NPC named Karim. Karim has light olive skin, black hair, and snakebite piercings.

The first outfit is his "pre-nobility" clothing. Simple, low-saturation clothes that are a bit too large for him.

The second outfit is his "I just married into Imperial Nobility" clothing. The saturation and intricacy of the clothing is much higher, with more imperial design elements.

He did lose his headscarf in the noble outfit, but that's not a cultural thing. He just isn't travelling as much to need it. Art showing two Pathfinder 1e characters, Karim and Seòras. Karim has light olive skin and black hair; Seòras has dark, golden-brown skin, blond hair, and glowing amber eyes + a halo.

Karim is wearing his new Imperial Army armor. It has lamellar on the sleeves and shins, he's wearing white pants and shirt, and his surcoat is crimson with gold trim + motifs.

Seòras is wearing similar armor. His has a gorget, spaulders, and lamellar tassets and vambraces. He wears no armor on his lower legs. His sleeves are the same crimson as his surcoat. He's also wearing riding boots with gold soles.

I wonder when (white) TTRPG players will remember that they can design fantasy clothing and armor that isn't based on Western Europe.

Or Western Europe + some vaguely "ethnic," often sexualized, accoutrements.

Like... You can draw more than W. European clothing, guys. I believe in you.

Seòras voice: "I don't care if she's the vessel my deity's Evil Twin™, your honor. She's BASICALLY my daughter now and I will die for her. I'll kill YOU for her."

Doodles of him and Charna.

And yeah, he's very concerned all the time about her being so tiny.

#art #dndart #oc #pathfinder
Three digital art sketches of the Pathfinder 1e characters, Seòras and Charna. One shows them in full-body, Charna hugging Seòras with her face pressed to his chest; another shows Seòras kneeling while Charna sits, their hands pressed together; and one shows them clinging to each other more than hugging.

Absolutely fantastic session that I wrote 2.1k words about it despite never writing lmao.

Gotta say though, I put my pussy into this part.
A screenshot of post-session writing. The scene describes the moment after Seòras becomes the Godlight's vessel and resurrects Charna.
colubridc.bsky.social
As a little background info:

Seòras in this setting and at this time is NOT a paladin, cleric, or magic user in any way. He's a believer, but no magical aptitude, whether divine or arcane. He's strictly martial (monk/fighter as a cavalier mimic).

But, well... It's time for gestalt levels. B)
colubridc.bsky.social
I am SO excited for tomorrow's session and Seòras becoming the divine's chosen vessel to save a city of ~17k people currently trapped with no way out.

Or what the hell ever.

I've been buzzing for a WEEK, it's my favorite damn trope.

4-panel art of the Anakin-Padme "... Right?" meme with a Pathfinder 1e character named Seòras.

The Godlight (this setting's main deity) is Anakin in the meme format. Seòras is Padme.

The top left panel shows the 2-D emblem of the Godlight as an eye with rays shining down. From the Godlight, the text reads: "The power of the Godlight will soon be able to combat the Darkness."

Top right panel shows Seòras with a wide smile. He has a bruise & cut on his cheek and forehead, and he looks a bit disheveled. From Seòras, the text reads: "Through one of the Imperial Paladins here, right?"

Bottom left panel shows the Godlight, but more zoomed in, with its 2-D emblem angled more toward the right, mimicking the intense look Anakin gives Padme in the meme format. There is no text.

Bottom right panel shows Seòras again. His expression has fallen to worry. From Seòras, the text reads: "... Right?"

Guess what. New armor design because the plot is happening faster than previously anticipated.

Get Godlight Beamed, idiot. Enjoy your new armor.
Art of a Pathfinder 1e character named Seòras. He's wearing a full set of lamellar armor with a deep red surcoat, gold trim, and black riding boots with gold soles.

In this drawing, he's wearing a helmet and cloth face covering. The helmet has two large hawk feathers as a crest. Art of a Pathfinder 1e character named Seòras. He's wearing a full set of lamellar armor with a deep red surcoat, gold trim, and black riding boots with gold soles.

No helmet in this drawing. Just Seòras' face.
colubridc.bsky.social
Hair style meme for Seòras, because his autistic ass has the same haircut for his entire life and I wanted to see if anything else fit.

The ponytail is great though. He looks exactly like his brother. Which, I mean... It makes sense considering they're identical twins.

#oc #art #dndart
An OC hair styles meme done for a Pathfinder 1e character named Seòras. The art shows Seòras with his normal look in a larger portrait, then a grid of 4 different hair styles.

Normally, Seòras has short-medium length hair styled in a side-swept undercut. For his appearance otherwise, he has dark, golden-brown skin with freckles over his cheeks and nose, warm-blond hair, and glowing gold eyes. He has a wide mouth with large teeth, a long and straight nose, and balanced-but-angular oval-shaped face.

The variations show:

Top left: Ponytail. His hair is the same length, but pulled back into a small ponytail. Some hair that isn't long enough to make it to the ponytail makes it look a bit messy. He's smiling with his head cocked a bit, emulating his smarmy-ass twin brother.

Top right: Long. Shoulder-length hair that's fully grown out and tucked behind his ears. Very neat and relaxed. His expression is mostly neutral, but there's an air of a smirk emoji in it.

Bottom left: Short. Close-cropped and fairly uniform in length all around with a faint side part. He looks uncomfortable with this.

Bottom right: Unkempt. His fringe is long enough to reach past his chin on his left side, and the right is getting there. It's clearly a grown-out version of his normal hairstyle. He also has a beard and messy eyebrows — the vibe being he hasn't had time to do Maintenance in a while. His expression looks miserable.

Trying to keep drawing. Struggling, but it's getting a little easier.

Seòras in some new campaign fits, and his ... Well. Not-boyfriend named Karim.

Having so much fun in this campaign already. Obsessed with it, which is always good for making more art. 😭

#pathfinder #ocart #dndart
A series of four drawings showing a Pathfinder 1e character named Seòras, a 31 year old half-celestial man. He's in the same pose, but he's dressed in a different outfit for each drawing.

The first shows his everyday outfit.

The second shows his "geared up" fit (same as his everyday, but with gloves, white sleeves, and lamellar on his upper arms and hips).

The third is his "dressed up" fit, with fancier fabrics and more layers.

The fourth is his noble outfit — different from his fancy fit, mostly to showcase the cultural vibes. (White underlayers, colors on top, and a lot more jewelry). Art of two portraits for a Pathfinder 1e NPC named Karim, a 26 year old human man.

Karim has light, olive-toned skin, short and choppy black hair, thick eyebrows, and dark eyes. He has small scars on his bottom lip, left eyebrow, and the left side of his nose.

He also has opal earrings, silver snake bite rings on his lip, and a large tattoo off a poppy plant on the right side of his face.

Sorry for no art updates. My bipolar is kicking my ass real hard.

Some scraps from the last few weeks...

- An Aloys dress up/layers for his armor
- Sketch of Seòras for the campaign I get to play him in
- Armor design for another character in that same campaign
Digital art of a PF1e character named Aloys. The art shows 7 different images at each stage of Aloys' gearing up sequence. Digital art of a PF1e character named Seòras. It's hard to see due to the color of the sketch lines (sorry), and shows Seòras walking down a path while leading his horse, Calamity. Digital art of a PF1e character named Sarhan (technically). He's in a neutral pose and wearing black, red, and gold Byzantine-inspired armor.

I love choosing one of the worst times to try to break into art as a profession, in one of the most oversaturated niches, with absolutely 0 industry experience, and no network, schooling, or connections.

Doing it on hardmode, hell yeah.
colubridc.bsky.social
Anyway.

WIP of this really old piece I finally decided to redo. Scene is from a moment in our last campaign where we lost an NPC that was really close with Esperanza.

On to rendering! ... Eventually.

(Also, fuck your helmet, Aloys)

#art #oc #dndart #pathfinder
Digital art of two Pathfinder characters, Aloys and Esperanza. Esperanza is sitting/kneeling on the ground, a letter clutched to her chest. Her face is scrunched in grief, her eyes closed.

Aloys is standing behind her, sword and shield down with his visor up. He's looking down at something just off-screen to the bottom right and has a neutral yet sad expression.

The background is a painted scene of a hardwood swamp at night.

(doesn't help that the various biases people have is palpable, but that's more of a complaint about group art events in general, and not a personal thing LOL)
colubridc.bsky.social
I have it in permissions that you can draw them without armor. I got modern AU and Pathfinder versions up for most of them to help make it a little easier.

It's genuinely not a big deal, and I have fun with the event! But a part of me is always like... "Do my characters just suck ass? 🤔"
colubridc.bsky.social
I don't do it for revenge, I don't draw with the expectation to get something back, and I don't feel entitled to receiving art.

And yet... Can't help but feel the disappointment every now and then.

Which, I know it's because my designs can be hard to draw/complicated/difficult. But MAN.
colubridc.bsky.social
I'll whine into the void here:

I love ArtFight and I have fun dedicating myself to actually drawing. Branching out a bit to draw different characters or work with interesting designs is great. Love the spirit of AF!

Still a little disheartening to never get anything. 😔
