Imagine a bird companion, but instead of getting it directly from a nest, you receive an egg that you need to equip in one of your rare item slots and after some time your new companion hatches!
So that's what I obviously still need to implement...

Game's certainly cozy during daytime! But I just added full day/night cycle and found it exciting to have all those red eyes staring at you once it's dark 😈🌙

I replaced the water shader to better match the pixelated look of the game. Also added basic ripple effects and smoother land/water transitions.

First implementation of (seamless) sailing is done.
Next up: Adding shallow water so you can't just land *everywhere* 😉
And also spending more time in Blender to make that boat look less ugly 😅

Proximity indicators have been added for areas that would trigger a fight. So it's more obvious when you can or cannot skip an auto-battle.

Often it's better to choose your encounters wisely 😉

Found some time to work on loot. First bunch of item traits have been added. They also can be applied to enemy characters, providing some interesting combinations.

I've improved the dynamic combat camera so that it properly supports up to three enemies now. And enemy characters will be slightly moved during transition (if necessary).
