I don’t disagree. It paying a provincial sales tax makes a huge difference. But, the ‘Alberta advantage’ is rapidly disappearing.

Once you factor in the exorbitant insurance rates and utility rates, etc, I’m not sure it doesn’t work out to be pretty close to elsewhere. Throw in a crumbling education system, and a health system on its knees and it looks way less appealing.

Beeber's ad at the bottom of the page says he is a voice that can be trusted - did he pay for the ad or did his employer give him the space for free or at a cut rate? This is the obvious sort of conflict of interest questions that arise.
