Had a great deal of trouble putting poppers on my umbrella after the velcro went 💩.
In a flash of inspiration, instead of whacking the stupid bit of plastic with a hammer and ruining at least 5 of them 🪦, I had the idea to use a g-clamp!
Worked a treat! Much more controlled!

The first ever commission I did was for a very gifted programmer when we were both about 17yo.
He was writing a puzzle game and asked me to write the music for it. I showed him the track and his face grimaced a little before saying.
It's so annoying! It's perfect!
Happy client!

Been exercising my intervals training by working out kids songs in my head for my son to play.
The hardest part is when he starts singing the song from the beginning when I'm trying to work out an interval at the end.

Got my workflow working well yesterday. Took about 5-10 minutes to get 3 full bars of a string section into the DAW, including some humanisation.
I really want to get to the point I can play stuff in, but I often find the quantizing puts notes in the wrong place and I spend too much time adjusting.

I've been thinking about this a lot. I guess the one thing I'd like is 'fairness'. I know that sounds very philosophical. I'm not sure what it means in practice.

Spent the better part of an hour getting back to grips with the Orchestral setup that I had before in Reaper. I had a number of scripts set up to help aid my composition in the DAW and they are actually really useful to my flow.
