For our one-button mode, every time the user makes a selection with the space bar, a timer will appear. When the timer times out, that option's event will trigger. If the player hits space again, focus will move to the next option!

In the one button mode, players will select an element using the space bar and a timer will start counting down. Once it hits zero, that element's action fires. If the player hits the space bar again before the timer goes off, the focus will move on to the next element and the timer restarts

timer counts down from 10 to 0, then disappears

In Godot, it's good to know that sometimes in a scene, the parent of a node can be turned invisible, but it's child might still be visible. If you want all nodes drawn in the viewport, try is_visible_in_tree()

During Willem's stream (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NV8h8CjVbPk), he gave us some really good advice to make the lab scene more navigable by adding visual cues that make the different walls different from each other. So I've been designing posters!

this is an awesome one button game concept! Do the ghost behaviors change over levels? (I remember the original pacman had the ghosts have different navigation algorithms to make it more dynamic)
