Just a check in, I love to pretend anyone but me cares. Here are my top 10 2025 movies so far and also my top 10 new-to-me movies I’ve watched this year so far (from any year). Listed in alt text. #letterboxd
I say most bc there are some heavy ones in the middle that I’m scared to watch lol
November Scavenger Hunt starts today! Excited for most of these movies.

I like the second one but yeah. I feel you.
They gotta stop making Scream movies. They should have stopped after 3.
I think Letterboxd is connected to tmdb

I really think social media is the worst thing that ever happened.
Intention while shuffling was finding ways of helping my partner through a tough time at work. This feels… promising. If someone who knows tarot better than me can help interpret that would be welcomed. #tarot
Die My Love, The Running Man, Wake Up Dead Man and Keeper! Will be seated for all.
Which four films on this list are you most anticipating in November? 👀
Whoa I guess I did too!! 🤯
Oh and Final Destination Bloodlines! Super fun. And it only worked for me because the characters were well developed and interesting and ENDEARING.
These are my top rated horror films so far this year, also The Long Walk but I don’t even really consider that to be a horror movie. I also loved Companion, Good Boy, HIM and Bring Her Back. Everything else I’ve seen has been underwhelming.
The movies that have really captured my heart this year have been more dialogue and story focused. I feel like recently I’d rather watch a slow and well written 2-3hr film than a 90min action packed horror film.
I think I just enjoy good stories more than action these days. I used to be such a horror girlie but I’ve found a lot of modern horror I’ve watched this year to feel really empty and generic.
Doing the Scavenger Hunt this year has really changed the way I watch movies and I’ve realized I like movies that I always thought weren’t for me. I never really cared for old movies and I’ve actually been finding they’re very comforting and easy to watch.
Currently watching, this movie is a HOOT.
I would take this as a personal attack (kidding lol)
Wow Primate looks like the most January horror release of all time lmao
