Intention while shuffling was finding ways of helping my partner through a tough time at work. This feels… promising. If someone who knows tarot better than me can help interpret that would be welcomed. #tarot

The "9 of Discs" or "9 of Pentacles" is a tarot card that, when upright, sig nifies financial independence, self-reliance, and enjoying the rewards of hard work. When reversed, it can indicate recklessness, overspending,
or a feeling of loneliness and emotional emptiness despite material wealth. The card's imagery typically shows a woman enjoying the fruits of her labor in a prosperous garden.
Upright meaning
• Financial independence and success: You have achieved a stable financial position through your own efforts.
• Self-sufficiency: You are self-reliant and have the ability to depend on yourself.
• Material security and luxury: You can now enjoy the benefits and material comforts of your hard work.

As you'll remember, Disks not only deal with our financial area, but also with day-to-day security in the family environment. So sometimes the Lord of Gain can come up to indicate consolidation and achievement at home. Perhaps an emotional conflict has finally been resolved, or a long-standing problem finally dealt with.
At the spiritual level, this card talks a lot about the principle that what we give to life is what we get back. And here we have confirmation that we have lived as much as we are able in the moment, appreciating the things that come our way, and celebrating the bounty we have. As a result, more abundance flows in.
The card rarely indicates windfalls, or unexpected sources of income. Here we have worked hard to create something rewarding, and the Lord of Gain indicates the results of our efforts.

These are my top rated horror films so far this year, also The Long Walk but I don’t even really consider that to be a horror movie. I also loved Companion, Good Boy, HIM and Bring Her Back. Everything else I’ve seen has been underwhelming.

The movies that have really captured my heart this year have been more dialogue and story focused. I feel like recently I’d rather watch a slow and well written 2-3hr film than a 90min action packed horror film.

I think I just enjoy good stories more than action these days. I used to be such a horror girlie but I’ve found a lot of modern horror I’ve watched this year to feel really empty and generic.

Doing the Scavenger Hunt this year has really changed the way I watch movies and I’ve realized I like movies that I always thought weren’t for me. I never really cared for old movies and I’ve actually been finding they’re very comforting and easy to watch.
