With this post, I begin my 2025 media thread, because yes, it is 2025 here now. Get ready to see plenty of Digimon, plenty of JRPGs, tons of horror, loads of stupid movies, and more as I embark on this year's media journey.

156. Scoobynatural (2018)
I know this is just a Supernatural episode, but it's a special and I'm gonna count it because it's my media thread, dammit. Good choice on adapting one of my favorite OG Scooby episodes, and Daphne's existential crisis is peak.
155. Dawn of the Dead (2004)
The James Gunn and Zack Snyder remake is... Honestly good. I gotta give it props. Great effects, solid comedy, good writing- The whole package.
154. A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) (REWATCH)
Do I have to say anything more than that it's a classic? Good movie, it's considered a horror icon for a reason. Also it scared the pants off me as a little Cloud so props for memorability.
153. Primitive War (2025)
Good dino movie, but it took us a little too long to get to the dinosaurs and the movie maybe goes on for a bit too long. I can give it a pass, it has cool action sequences and dino scenes after all.
152. Pixels (2015)
It's alright. Not as bad as people say and it can be funny. Didn't really do anything special for me but it has memeable lines and has its moments.
151. Crawl (2019)
Thank you Sam Raimi for giving us a good fucking alligator horror movie. That is all.
150. Digimon Story: Time Stranger (2025)
Now THIS is what I'm talking about. Digimon games have evolved forever with this one and there is no going back. I can confidently say I loved this one, from the emotional story to the mon collecting gameplay. Just a couple more steps to perfection, Bandai.
149. Digimon Story: Time Stranger Anime Prelude (2025)
It's a roughly 4 minute prequel short and it broke my heart. I dunno what to say. Just great job all-around. The animation kicks all kinds of ass, and man... Justimon really was a badass to the end. The sad, depressing, painful end.
148. The Thing (1982)
It really is one of the greatest horror movies of all time. I can't name many issues with it, it just really manages to succeed in suspense, visuals, characters, everything- Just an all-around good film.
147. Scream 4 (2011) (REWATCH)
I like it about as much as Scream 2. I don't think it's a standout like the original, but it is a very good time and a worthy finale for Wes Craven's work on the series.
146. Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold (2018)
Honestly this one's just a very fun crossing-over of Scooby-Doo and DC in general. I think it does the characters justice in a fun little lighthearted package.
145. Breaking Bad (2008-2013)
How did I not watch this sooner? Every episode, every scene, written perfectly with such an understanding of every minute detail of itself took me on a rollercoaster of emotions I couldn't get off. Bravo Vince. This is truly the moment I became a fan of Breaking Bad.
144. Mean Girls (2004)
Watched this with my cousins. I... I mean, this movie probably isn't for me. But I thought it was actually pretty funny sometimes. Other times I just couldn't relate to it.
142. Streets of Rage 4 (2020)
It's a fun-ass beat 'em up and that's really kinda all it needs to be- It's enjoyable and snappy and there's a challenge to it that keeps you on your toes. I'll probably enjoy it more on multiplayer but there's not much else to say for it for now. Just two hours of fun.
141. Case 39 (2009)
It's alright. Premise is nothing new and by the end I just found myself waiting for it to end, but the overall movie wasn't terrible and I thought the acting was solid.
140. The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025)
As a professional MCU hater, this was honestly pretty fun. The writing wasn't bad by any means and the cast were fun together. Ralph Ineson as Galactus was the fucking highlight though, man absolutely slayed it.
I must've been like 6 or 7 but I remember playing it all the time as a kid
139. Marvel's Spider-Man (2018)
This is something amazing- Or should I say spectacular? They got the essence of the character and his storytelling down in a way that revitalized my love for them, while simultaneously returning me to those days of playing SM3 on the PS2 as a kid with an A+ game.
138. Weapons (2025)
The start was way too slow for me to get behind it. I liked the ending and it was better once the story started coming together, but before that... Eh.
137. Spaceballs (1987)
I found myself cracking up at every comical Star Wars joke- Great parody that both made me laugh and went beyond in surprising me with how far it took its jokes in terms of being referential.
136. Superman (2025)
AMAZING movie. They did Superman justice and made Lex a very real threat. The narrative had strength and heart. The characters are respected and well-written. The effects and music feel like a treat and pay tribute to Superman's legacy- This is what a Superman movie should be.
135. DEATH BATTLE - Ruby VS Maka (2025)
Outside Maka being kinda dickish in the fight, I loved it. Great writing and animation all-around, it honestly felt like an amazing episode.
134. Digimon Adventure (1999 OVA) (REWATCH)
I will never not love this little romp. Tai, Kari, and Agumon/Greymon on a memorable adventure that kickstarted an incredible legacy. What is there to even say? It's an animation and action classic.

133. Promare (2019)
One of my favorite animated movies, if not favorite movies of all time. Dude, I can't name a better example of pure production quality I've seen in animation. And they aren't just all-style no-substance. They took their writing seriously, their characters, narrative, everything.
