This was a wonderful challenge in both colours and lighting! I'm overall pretty happy with how it turned out. The frame is being made right now so I'll upload a better quality photo of that and the painting once it's complete

The final result! This painting has taken over 100 hours to complete and I think it's been worth it :) I'll be happier once it's varnished/ I've built the frame but I think I've done all I can!

Progress at the end of today! I'll be deepening shadows and colours of clothing etc tomorrow in the hope of fixing the right side of the painting and the weird lighting there.
