Jones defeated an incumbent, AG Jason Miyares.

And, this means one less key AG siding with Trump — and another AG and AG's Office that will be litigating against Trump.

It's the same thing that happened with the ACA which was designed off a plan from the Heritage Foundation. No matter what Dems do, the GOP will message it as socialist evil and run further right. They will take any opportunity they can to shift the Overton Window of American politics further right.
