Many of these studies were done in Denver by the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless. The data is shocking. Give someone a place to live? Addictions vanish. Give basic income for 1 yr (less than cost of 1 person in prison for a yr), employment& stability returns. We know what to do. We don't do it.

It's time for Oregon to create and pass a police accountability bill. Use the one passed in Colorado. The only way to get it to stop is to create a legal path for accountability.

Bathhouses. Those "straight" business men. It was a mess. Denver also lost a huge number of people to AIDS/HIV -- cleared out neighborhoods.

Every area of our life has been up in the air since last year. Sometimes, we're handling it well; sometimes we're not. We're on the "one step or one breath a time" program.

It was a condition of the funding. Denver's Stapleton Airport was a hub of HIV infection due to its proximity to town. They eliminated the risk w the the airport

Pre-made pizza is pretty easy to dress up a bit with veg, etc. There are loads of content creators who talk about taking something like frozen pizza and increasing the nutrition.

I started cleaning houses at 11 years old to pay for my little sister's food and clothing because my mother told me it was my fault she was born because I didn't breastfeed. 🤪

I agree go get that food. Feel no shame. There's a lot of crazy reasons this is going on that have nothing to do with you.

Yeah, I never try. Luckily, she's fairly short. No dis to short people. For me, though, it's 3 steps and I away from her.

You can't be nice to someone like that. You can't relieve the burden of her suffering.
