I got notes back on a script set in the late 1800s. They were very critical of me using modern language...

It's a script about a Kung-Fu Fighting NDN (Native American) roaming the Old West. I feel like modern language is a given with this kind of script.

I think the one thing social media ruined was underground film critics. I know he's a creep, but a guy like Harry Knowles had his finger on the pulse and there were few like him. Now everyone and there momma is a film critic and it sucks. I want that hard to find review for a hard to find film

I saw a comment on here about how Alberta parents should strike by not letting their kids go to school and that reeked of so much upper middle class white privilege it isn't even funny. If BIPOC and underprivileged parents did that, they'd be arrested and their kids given over to the government
