I'm so tired of medical staff calling me "sweetie" and "honey." It's so demeaning!

If I referred to staff the same way, then I'd be (rightfully) admonished. So why is the inverse acceptable?

I can't say anything about it though, because then I'd be labeled "combative" or "aggressive" 🫠
