If Ukraine gets thrown under the bus, I would allocate the blame to a) 77 million dumbassed American voters, and b) the Europeans who just don't seem able to get it together at all.

Who in the professional military will step up against this?
Our government is so seriously fucked up.

Time for _every_ American that cares about the Constitution and the rule of law to post something informing our military that they don't have to obey an unlawful order.

The big question, though, is what percentage of our military would even give it a thought?
Are those "MANY GREAT LEGAL SCHOLARS" in the room with you right now, Piggy?

Answer: More Trump Republican voters.

I think Frum's assessment of the shutdown here is almost as shallow as the Democrat's plan to engage in it. They had no Plan A, much less any Plan B. And no, most of us aren't interested in "taking over" the party. There's not that much left of it to take.

Q: Did the D's have a plan for how their shutdown was going to end50 days ago?

A: Yes. They had identified eight senators in "safe seats" that they would instruct to vote with the Republicans when the time came to capitulate.

So nothing at all was accomplished -- but did you all enjoy the show?

Breaking: there are no Russian "pee tapes."
There are Epstein pee tapes that he sold to the Russians.
November 13, 2025 at 7:14 PM
Yes, let's all focus on "Epstein" again now so we won't spend too much time thinking about how the Democrats threw us all under the bus when they gave up on the shutdown.

You want some "accountability?" Start demanding it from those eight "safe seat" Senators that did the throwing.

More proof that there is a political class in our country that uses BOTH parties to get what it wants, and maintains the myth of a "two party system" because it serves their ends.

President Obama has reached out to Mayor Mamdani with the willingness to be a sounding board. I hope the mayor will take that seriously, because I suspect Obama knows as much as anyone alive about how "the establishment" can seek power of a leader.

Bush and Cheney owe a huge vote of thanks to Trump for making them look so much better in comparison than they were. But they were a major disaster for the nation in their own right, and made major contributions to building the ship that Trump/Vance sailed in on.

Not hard to guess some of the Democrats seeking this supposed "off ramp."

The same ones that don't have a damned clue what the shutdown is really about -- or do, and don't care.
