In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, Mayor Pro Tem Bryan Wahl presented a proclamation to MLT Elementary School Principal Anderson, Teacher Ms. Hovig, and PTA Board Member Ms. Alcazar. MLT Elementary is a bilingual school with 1/3 of the students identifying as Hispanic/Latino. #cityofmlt

National Day of Service at Recreation Pavilion was a success! 20 park-loving volunteers planted 3 trees and over a dozen plants, pulled out a dumpster-load (5 yards!) of invasive blackberry bushes, and spread fertilizer for grass seedlings. Join us for our next “green-up” on Arbor Day next April!
